Who We Are
Hi there! I’m Lorna Anne Tierney, a plant-powered climate activist with a passion for reshaping how we consume. I created The Earthy Marketplace (TEM) to make sustainable, community-focused living the norm across Ireland.
At TEM, we believe in the power of our purchases—every euro we spend is a vote for the kind of world we want to create. Our goal is simple: to connect people with businesses and organisations that are committed to sustainability, ethical practices, and making a positive difference for people and the planet.
Together, we’re building a future where eco-conscious choices are easy, accessible, and something to get excited about!

We have big news: The Earthy Marketplace is now completely FREE for businesses and organisations to join!
We’ve removed all membership fees so we can welcome more eco-friendly enterprises and inspire even more conscious consumers. By breaking down this barrier, we’re making TEM a thriving community of sustainable businesses, organisations, and supporters.

Our Commitment to the Planet
TEM has always been about giving back to the Earth. Previously, we planted native Irish trees through membership fees. Now, with the move to free memberships, we’re introducing a voluntary donation programme to keep this vital work going.

- We’ll celebrate every contributor and ensure full transparency in how donations are used.
