At The Earthy Marketplace (TEM), we are building a trusted community where sustainability-driven businesses and organisations can connect with conscious consumers who value ethical practices and environmental care.

If your business or organisation is dedicated to sustainability, ethical practices, and community well-being, we’d love for you to join our growing Conscious Community.

Please carefully review our joining criteria to ensure we’re the right fit for your business.

Please Note: All listings and content will be reviewed and approved by the TEM team before they are made public on our platform.

Step 1: Review Our Joining Criteria

For Businesses

TEM is open to professional, sustainability-focused businesses that meet the following standards:

Professional Standards

Your business must be officially registered (e.g., a business registration or tax number).
Your business must have been operating for at least 6 months (we welcome newer businesses as long as they’re serious about sustainability and growth).

Sustainability and Ethical Practices
Sustainability and ethics should be core to your operations, which might include:

Using eco-friendly materials, production methods, or waste-reduction initiatives.
Following circular economy principles or showing a clear commitment to minimising environmental impact.
Offering plant-based or vegan products/services where relevant.

While certifications (e.g., Organic, Fairtrade, B Corp, Vegan) are encouraged, they are not mandatory.

Core Business Categories

TEM features businesses and organisations within these five key categories:

Sustainable Shops
- Retailers, refilleries, or manufacturers offering eco-conscious goods, such as fashion, beauty, homeware, art, crafting, furniture, and more.
Earthy Eats
- Food establishments offering 100% vegan or primarily plant-based menus, such as restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and food trucks.
Farm Finder
- Independent growers providing seasonal, organic produce and following pesticide-free or organic farming principles.
Earthy Service Providers
- Businesses offering sustainability-focused services, such as:
  - Eco-friendly consultants
  - Green building and renovation services
  - Repair and upcycling services
  - Ethical marketing and communications
  - Sustainability education and training
  - Eco-tourism providers
  - Health and wellness services rooted in sustainable principles
Earthy Friends (NGOs and Not-for-Profits)
- Organisations that focus on environmental protection, community development, sustainability, animal welfare, or social impact.

To qualify as an Earthy Friend, your group must be a legitimate NGO, charity, grassroots organisation, or not-for-profit with a focus on:

Environmental protection
Sustainability or climate action
Circular economy principles
Animal welfare or animal rights
Community development or climate awareness

Verification and Approval

To maintain the quality and trust of our platform:

Businesses and organisations must provide accurate information when signing up.
Supporting documentation (e.g., certifications, proof of sustainable practices) may be requested.
All listings are reviewed by the TEM team. Listings that don’t align with our values will not be approved.

Step 2: Register and Add Your Listing

If you believe your business or organisation meets the above criteria:

To begin, first register to create a basic account on The Earthy Marketplace. This step allows you to access our platform and start building your listing.

Once you register, you will receive an email with instructions to verify your account.

Step 2: Add Your Listing

After verifying your account and logging in, you’ll need to submit your business or organisation’s listing for review. A direct link to the listing submission page will be provided in your confirmation email.

Your listing should include:

A detailed description of your business or organisation, including your mission, values, and offerings.
High-quality photos, videos, and relevant links (e.g., website, social media).
Any certifications or supporting documents that demonstrate your sustainable practices (optional but encouraged).

Step 3: Listing Review and Approval

Once you submit your listing, the TEM team will review the details to verify your business and ensure alignment with our criteria.

If Approved: You’ll receive an email notification, and your listing will go live on the platform.
If Additional Information Is Needed: We’ll provide feedback or suggestions to help you refine your listing.

Outreach and Invitations:

- TEM also invites businesses and organisations that align with our values. If your business is selected through our research and outreach, you’ll receive an email invitation to join.
