Joining The Earthy Marketplace

Step One: View Our Joining Criteria

Before getting started, ensure that your business aligns with our values and meets the requirements for conscious and sustainable practices. Review our joining criteria below to make sure you're a fit for our Conscious Community.

 

Business Criteria to Become a Member of Our Conscious Community:

At The Earthy Marketplace, we feature three main cohorts of conscious businesses. Can your business be described as one of the following? (If so, then come on board!)

Step Two: Choose Your Cohort

  1. Shop Sustainable:  Sustainable businesses, including Refilleries, Zero Waste, Fashion, Children’s toys, Accessories, Beauty, Art, Crafting, Household items, Furniture, and more.

  2. Earthy Eats: Food places catering 100% vegan or offering vegan options. This includes restaurants, cafés, bistros, food trucks, bakeries, and more.

  3. Farm Finder: Independent growers selling seasonal, organic produce of the plant variety.

    Farming organically means anyone respecting the principles, rules, and requirements of organic farming.

  4. Coming Soon - Earthy Services: Get ready for a new cohort! Earthy Services will welcome Conscious Service Providers in areas like Waste Reduction, Resource Conservation, Public Engagement, Education, Sustainable Farming, and more.

TEM will review and approve all content and listings before giving authorisation to be viewed by the public on TEM.

Groups & Organizations Criteria to Become an Earthy Friend:

At The Earthy Marketplace, we're all about promoting a more conscious lifestyle and all that this encompasses. Therefore, we've decided to provide a space on TEM for conscious/environmental NGOs, charities, and not-for-profit groups and organisations to help raise awareness of the important work being done across Ireland.

We wish to offer our service as a means to help raise awareness of these amazing organisations that do so much. We aim to support them by helping to advertise their events and required volunteering roles, etc., and assist them in whatever way we can as members of our growing conscious community.

Before authorising any new Earthy Friends to be featured on TEM, the following criteria are taken into consideration about the respective group/organization:

  • Are they a legitimate NGO/Charity/Not-for-profit group/organisation?

  • Are they rooted in work related to one or more of the following: Environment/Community/Sustainability/Climate mitigation and/or adaptation/Circular economy/Animal welfare/Animal rights/Climate-action/Climate-awareness?

Please note that Earthy Friends is not for the sale of goods/services and should not be used for this purpose by any Earthy Friends Members.

 

Step three: Joining

Here's a simple guide to help you through the process:

1. View our joining criteria:

Before getting started, take a moment to review our joining criteria. Make sure you meet the requirements to join our Conscious Community before moving to the next step.                            

2. Select and Purchase a Subscription Plan:

Head on over to 'Memberships' and choose a subscription plan that suits your needs.

3. Accept Cookies:

Ensure you accept cookies for a smooth sign-up process. Just a one-time step!

4. Login and Add Listing:

After purchasing your membership, login. The logo on the top left serves as our Home button. Hover your mouse over it to find the drop-down menu and select 'Add Listing'.

5. Setting up Your Business Listing:

We recommend that you complete this one-time process on the desktop version of our website. Add your business details, feature photo/logo, videos, contact info, opening hours, and more!

 

Further Membership Details:

After sign-up, you will receive additional details about your selected membership via email.

My Dashboard:

Access 'My Dashboard' to edit your listing anytime. Feel free to add Offers and Events to showcase your business even more.

Visibility to Users:

Once your listing is complete, you'll become visible to our users. Make sure your business stands out!
