Why does The Earthy Marketplace need all of these permissions?
Location:
TEM uses device location to show users great places to shop/eat consciously near their current location. TEM asks that businesses provide their location for use in our geolocation services so that customers can find their business easily and so we can maximise your business’s visibility using TEM Services. TEM never stores your device location on our servers longer than needed.
Photos/Media/Files:
When creating a TEM featured business account it will be made possible to upload a photo/ logo to represent your business. To do so you will need to give permissions to access photos from your existing library on your device. TEM never accesses your photos until you choose to view them from within TEM. TEM never stores any photos/media or files from your device except that which is associated with your business feature and listing.
How does The Earthy Marketplace protect your information?
TEM is extremely protective of the information gathered through our Services. TEM has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. Our Web server is located in a locked, secure environment. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or via mobile device, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security and thereby usage in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
We assume no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your information due to errors in transmission, unauthorised third-party access, or other causes beyond our control. Does The Earthy Marketplace rent, sell, or trade my information?
No, TEM never rents, sells or trades your email address, name, postal address, or any information to other organisations and commercial companies. Only TEM will have access to your personal information and that which you have given your permission to be viewed publicly will be viewed as such.
