At The Earthy Marketplace, we believe in giving back to nature and doing our part to tackle the climate crisis and biodiversity loss. As we transition to a free-to-join platform, we are making a bigger impact by relying on donations from anyone who wishes to support this vital cause.
Half of all donations received (after fees) will go directly towards planting native Irish trees, helping us restore Ireland’s woodlands and offset carbon emissions. This is our way of giving back to nature and supporting global environmental restoration efforts. Your generosity will support rewilding efforts, increase biodiversity, and improve local ecosystems.
As of now, we’ve planted over 1500 native trees!
Planting 1,500 native trees is like removing the CO₂ emissions from driving a car around the world more than 160 times!!🌱 Yep, together, we’re making a BIG difference!
Why Native Irish Trees?
Ireland was once the most forested country in Europe, but today only 2% of our native woodland remains. By planting native trees, we are not just helping to rewild Ireland, but we are also restoring biodiversity and creating healthier ecosystems. The species we plant are part of the most biodiverse range of any initiative in Ireland, with over 20 species contributing to a richer, more resilient environment.

For every tree planted here, Reforest Nation plants one more in biodiversity hotspots across Africa, Asia, and Central America, tackling both deforestation and extreme poverty by employing local communities to plant trees.
