We are constantly working on new ways to expand our Service and make it even more dynamic and resourceful for the Irish public as well as supportive in promoting the businesses and people that make up The Earthy Marketplace community. To be as accessible as possible to as many people as possible it has always been our goal to release our very own app and it's finally here! This is only the beginning. The Earthy Marketplace is a resource hub with a drive to connect our national community and provide the Irish public with Earth-friendly alternatives that push back against the culture of overconsumption and pack a positive purchasing punch instead! EARTHY is the app version of The Earthy Marketplace which is the FIRST of its kind All-Ireland Resource Hub for Conscious Consumerism. An ever-expanding conscious community with a drive to provide the Irish public with Earth-friendly alternatives that push back against the culture of overconsumption and pack a positive purchasing punch instead!

At The Earthy Marketplace, we feature three primary cohorts of business:
1. Shop Sustainable - A broad range of sustainable businesses Including but not limited to, for example, businesses in areas such as Refillery Zero Waste, Fashion, Children’s toys, Accessories, Beauty, Art, Crafting, Household items, Furniture, etc.
2. Farm Finder - Independent Growers selling seasonal, organic produce of the plant variety.
Farming organically means anyone respecting the principles, rules, and requirements of organic farming.
3. Earthy Eats - Food places catering 100% vegan or offering vegan options as part of their regular menu.
The term food places can refer to a broad range of businesses that prepare and serve/deliver food to customers. Including but not limited to, for example, Restaurant, Café, Bistro, Food Truck, Bakery, etc.

Earthy Friends - At The Earthy Marketplace we're all about promoting a more conscious lifestyle and all that that encompasses, therefore, we have decided to provide a space on TEM for all conscious/environmental NGOs, charities, and not-for-profit groups and organisations, to help raise awareness of the important work being done across Ireland.

The Earthy Marketplace is a resource hub with a drive to connect our national community, while also giving back to nature directly. Of course, we plant trees! We love nature! Shop with us and help in our mission to restore biodiversity and help to reforest and rewild Ireland. The Tree Tally can be seen on The Earthy Marketplace Home page to keep everyone up to date on the total number of native trees planted by The Earthy Marketplace community to help restore Ireland's forests.

Q&A: Why are permissions needed?
Location:
The app uses your device location to find our nearby conscious community members including sustainable businesses, Independent Growers, plant-based food places, and conscious/environmental groups and organisations based all over Ireland. We do not store your location on our servers.
Photos/Media/Files:
The app allows only businesses that subscribe to our service to upload photos from your phone/tablet. We never access your photos until you choose to view them from within the app.
Other:
We communicate with The Earthy Marketplace database to bring you the resources you need to shop with the earth in mind in the Republic of Ireland ---
